Sunday May 6 - Sydney

Another beautiful sunrise.  Took a long leisurely walk around Sydney Harbor.  Went back to the Harbour Bridge to walk up the Pylon Tower to a lookout point - It was spectacular.  It was fun watching the people walk up the bridge like I had just done yesterday.

Then went to The Rocks Street Market - mostly fun people-watching!

Went to Cockle Bay Wharf to look around.  Had an unexpected "find".  It was Buddha's Birthday - and there was a huge celebration.  Lot of people, food, dragons, dancing, etc.  It was really interesting.

Then to Paddy's Market - wow - they have everything - and the produce was unbelievable - many of the vendors were shouting out to get customers.  My we shop so differently in the US!

Then to see a performance of "Priscilla - Queen of the Desert - The Musical".  It was spectacular!!!  Great costumes, music, acting, and the set was great - even a HUGE bus that was clever.  This should be a huge hit when it gets to the US - just opened here a few months ago.

The walk back was cool - you can tell it is fall here - the leaves are turning color and falling in places.  A nice walk back to the hotel.

Sydney is great - a spectacular city with lots of things to see and do.  One day left to explore the harbour area.
