Today is departure day. I've looked forward to this day for so long. YEAH!
My bags are packed, the condo is all ready to go into idle mode, and I'm attending to some last minute items. Melody is taking me to the airport at noon and I'll be traveling the rest of the day. I arrive in San Francisco tonight around 9 pm (Pacific Time) and am staying at the Marriott San Francisco Airport. A day of travel!

I thought this morning that I needed to send you a birthday card early before you left, but I never saw an early birthday card, only late ones. Have a great trip, so glad you are doing the blog! We can have updates along the way. See you when you get back.

We are so excited for you. Have lots of fun, eat healthy, and drink plenty. Lauren and Lillian will add their postcards to their box so that they can pick a spot for Grandpere and Gi Gi to take them (and their mom, of coarse). We'll be thinking about you.
